Valley Community Clinic recognizes the unique medical needs of women and girls, with medical protocols and services specifically geared to females. The program goes beyond just treating a disease, and encompasses a holistic approach to health for female patients aged 13 and up. Each patient receives individualized information on ways to improve her health, as well as high-quality, appropriate medical treatment. She also receives comprehensive follow-up services that will enable her to put any necessary health-improving lifestyle changes into action.
• Free or low-cost annual health screenings and medical treatment, to prevent, detect, and treat illness.
• Access to free/low-cost prescribed medications as necessary.
• Information and education about preventing illness and maintaining good health as well as about medications.
• Support in making lifestyle changes necessary for health, including periodic monitoring to ensure that each patient is progressing toward her health goals.
